The Mockingbird Network Region 4 for Change Chapter Meetings
The Mockinbird Network is comprised of youth and alumni, ages 14- 24, who have experienced foster care and or kinship care in Washington State. The Mockingbird Network involves youth in one of six regional chapters designed to help them prepare for a successful future, with valuable work and lifeskills training, preperation and planning for adult life, and leadership development. Network participants are encouraged to give back to their communites through youth -led projects and initiatives. The Mockingbird Network is revolutionizing the role and impact of youth and alumni to bring about system reform in Washington State.

Mockingbird Network Chapter Meeting:
January 11th, 2010 we will be discussing Youth Advocacy Day. We will be talking about issues on the Legislative Agenda and opportunities for youth to speak directly to their local Representatives and Senators. If you want to learn how to speak to your local legislators come to the next Region 4 chapter meeting. Food and fun will be provided so come and check it out!!

Do you want to be a chapter leader? We have two chapter leader positions open and elections will take place next month if you have what it takes or would like to try something new and get paid make sure your at the next meeting!!!
