The 411 from Friendships to Crushes: Healthy Development & Relationships

Do you understand typical development dynamics and accept each of the children and/or youth you work with? Healthy relationships flourish when children and youth can trust they will get accurate, appropriate information and acceptance from adults. Four workshops plus a lunchtime learning session provide a total of 5 hours of continuing education, all presented by recognized experts. Participants will select one workshop in each session.

Examine natural and healthy relationship development in children. Learn what is normal and expected during childhood friendships and sexual development in children ages 5-12.

1-B:  Crushes, Dating and Romance (ages 12-18) with Rebecca Goldberg, Prevention Educator, New Beginnings
Gain tools, tips and techniques for supporting healthy youth relationships for ages 12-18 from someone who specializes in teaching this topic to youth groups.
