Youth Resource Fair 12:00 – 1:00 pm
Ask the Mayor & City Council 1:00 – 2:30 pm
Round Table Discussions 2:30 – 4:00 pm
The Seattle Youth Town Hall provides a forum for young people to voice their opinions and questions about youth-relevant issues in Seattle to Mayor McGinn and Seattle City Councilmembers. This year, in addition to the Ask the Mayor & City Council and the Round Table Discussions, we will feature a YOUTH RESOURCE FAIR.
YOUTH RESOURCE FAIR DETAILS:
Are you interested in sharing your program resources or recruiting youth for your summer or school year programs? Showcase your program at the Youth Resource Fair, co-sponsored by Seattle Youth Commission and SOAR. This is a great opportunity for youth to learn about opportunities for involvement this summer or throughout the school year and for youth organizations to recruit participants for their programs.
The resource fair will take place from 12–1pm on May 22nd @ the Vera Project in the Seattle Center. If you are interested in participating, contact Jenny Frankl (Seattle Youth Commission Program Coordinator) at jenny.frankl@seattle.gov or 206.979.2266 as soon as possible.
Please also promote this event to the youth you work with. See the attached flyer for details.
