• Learn more about what YOU can do to prevent and intervene in bullying & bias based harassment (as it pertains to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth) in your community organization or school
• Discover the links bullying experiences have with long term, negative mental health outcomes including risk for depression and suicide.
• Learn more about the new policies and procedures in Washington State
• Connect with others working to prevent bullying and find new tools to bring back to your own program and school

Free & open to all who support youth in King County- youth workers, teachers, parents, & others.

King County Youth Development Network (KCYDN) is a collaborative SOAR project & supported by City of Redmond, Metrocenter YMCA, School's Out Washington, Seattle Parks & Recreation, Solid Ground, Youth Suicide Prevention Program, and many more child & youth organizations in King County. KCYDN coordinates a series of networking events for youth workers throughout King County. The purpose of these events is to provide space for King County youth workers to learn about successful local programs, opportunities for partnering, and peer-led discussions and trainings on relevant youth topics.
