Dates: July - December 2010
Stipend: $300/month

Job Description: Queer Youth Space in partnership and collaboration with Seattle Young People's Project is hiring two youth organizers for six-month positions working 6-10 hours a week. Organizers will build, foster, and support the leadership base of the Queer Youth Space collective, develop community relationships, and cultivate and coordinate at least two projects/program/campaigns for the Queer Youth Space and Seattle Young People's Project. Through anti-racist, anti-classist, and pro-queer practices, organizers will address various challenges queer youth face. Organizers will be supported in gaining knowledge and developing organizing skills while working in partnership with two awesome youth-led social justice organizations.
