Reel Queer Youth: Media Program
Up to Youth Opportunities
Hey All!
I wanted to share a great opportunity for volunteering and also to share to your youth. Seattle based Three Dollar Bill Cinema's Reel Queer Youth program this will be hosting a workshop this summer teaching youth the technical skills and giving the space for creative production of their own films. They are seeking volunteers who have knowledge in video and media production or with supporting the program. More information from their website is below:
Reel Queer Youth is a video production and media literacy training for LGBTQ youth and their allies ages 13-20. Dates: July 18-22, 2011 Be sure to check out the website for vids and to share with friends and youth! Thanks everyone!
Time: 10am-4pm (there is also a Friends & Family Screening on July 23rd from 3-5pm)
Where: 1409 21st Ave, Seattle, WA 98122
What: Use professional camera and editing equipment to express yourself in a safe, open, and fun environment with a team of professional filmmakers and mentors. Working in small groups, you will complete a short film.
