Free Relief Block Printing Workshop for Youth

Free Friday Workshop: Relief Block Printing with Theresa Neinas
Friday 6-9pm, June 4th & 11th

Have you always wanted to play with sharp tools but your mother wouldn't let you? Learn to use linoleum cutting tools and barins safely and get the results you want. Get an overview of relief block printing that touches on composition, technique and individual style as well as the basics of rolling and hand printing.
Students register in person at Pratt. Class is this Friday, REGISTER SOON!!!
 
 
Pratt's Youth Art Works program is offering this FREE workshop in partnership with Schools Out Washington, an intermediary organization dedicated to building community systems to support quality after school and youth development programs for Washington's 5-18 year olds through training, advocacy and leadership. The prints created during the two day workshop will be exhibited at Schools Out Washington's office building. 

 

Open to students between the ages of 13 and 18 on a first come first serve basis.  Register soon as the class begins on Friday!
