I’m writing to inform you about an opportunity to be an adult ally to youth. Please forward this information out over listserves and to friends and colleagues.

Powerful Voices is looking for Adult Allies to support adolescent girls!

We are searching for powerful women to help support and learn with each girl one-on-one through this program.  We strive to offer our adult allies (AA’s) the same opportunities and challenges that we provide for girls.  Volunteering with our youth will not be an easy task. It will challenge your patience, push your boundaries, and confront your personal and cultural norms. But investing time, energy, and support to create a reciprocal and respectful relationship with a girl can deepen both your lives and enlighten your own personal perspective.  Working directly with our community’s youth will undoubtedly inspire, move and deepen your knowledge.  Please join us in cultivating the next generation of change-maker

Please complete and turn in your Adult Ally Application by November 29th.  (flyer and application attached)

We will be contacting potential AA’s for an interview. We will admit people to the program that share PV’s values of commitment, integrity, openness and compassion.s and community leaders.
