Want to work with SOAR this summer as a full-time VISTA?

SOAR has a small, dynamic staff of three, a large base of partners, and two summer VISTA opportunities! 

• Work with partners and develop a strong understanding of local early childhood and youth development efforts, community resources and dynamics. 
• Work as a member of an inclusive team of skilled professionals, and be involved in meetings to assure coordination of work, access to sound problem-solving expertise, and support from other team members.
• Practice creative/innovative approaches to problem solving, planning and project management techniques.
• Learn effective ways to work with diverse, professional, socioeconomic and cultural communities.

Two positions and several projects available.

Full-time from June 27 - August 31, 2011 (up to 2 weeks unpaid leave is possible). Earn up to $2084 plus an education award of $1174.
