YELS Mentoring Opportunitiy

Dear Friends and Community Partners,

YELS, a community based leadership program at High Point, is seeking mentors for Teens Leading Change, our middle-school program. The commitment is 2 days a month, on Monday/Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
 
TLC is a leadership program grounded in environment, community and mentorship. The program offers a holistic approach to youth development; recognizing that a young person’s growth is inseparable from a critical awareness of their environment, as well as their sense of agency in the community. TLC aims to empower young people to identify and create solutions for issues facing themselves within their community
