The Roundtable Experience: October 2010-August 2011
Summary of The Roundtable Experience:
Join a group of 6-12 Community Leaders seeking a training and networking opportunity that will allow them to become more effective supervisors. Members of The Roundtable Experience will attend six 2.5 hour trainings. This interactive and collaborative series of workshops will encourage participants to explore new leadership styles and share best practices as they learn to improve management of staff/volunteer teams. For further growth and individualized training, all participants are encouraged to register for one-on-one Professional Coaching. Clock Hours are are available upon request.
Outcomes: Participants will:
- select session topics and receive training on subjects related to effective supervision and leadership. Topics may include, but are not limited to, Situational Leadership, Ethical Leadership, Conflict Management, Dealing w/ Disciplinary Issues, Volunteer Recruitment, Facilitation Skills, Meeting Management, Cultural Competency, Anti-oppression & Ally Work
- build a collaborative learning community by sharing resources and strategies to develop more effective leadership styles. Open and free flowing discussions will give participants the opportunity
- to seek advice, share best practices, and discover innovative ways to work as a team

Workshop & Professional Coaching (includes six group sessions & six 1-hour sessions every other month) $450.00
