What is an Employment Training Institute?
Employment Training Institutes are RefugeeWorks’ signature events each year. Designed specifically for refugee employment professionals, the training combines research and skill-building so that staff come away with new tools, fresh ideas, and renewed energy for their work of helping refugees work. 

What is the goal of the training?
The overall goal is to highlight creative strategies for combining English language and skills training with new tools for assessment, best practices in recertification and community partnerships.

Who should attend?
This Employment Training Institute will be of interest to program managers and front-line service providers alike.  With a focus on incoming refugee populations and the realities of resettlement today, there will be large group workshops and small group coaching sessions that offer opportunities for discussion, networking, and strategizing on a variety of education-related topics.

Who is RefugeeWorks?
As the national center for refugee employment, RefugeeWorks specializes in providing training, research, consulting and publishing services to the national refugee employment network. We are committed to building the capacity of local employment providers so that refugees are prepared to succeed in the workplace and businesses can benefit from the skills and talents of refugee workers.
