Could your organization benefit from the help of a group of handy volunteers? Is there a project you have been putting off because you don't have the time or (wo)man-power to do it? Then this is the event for you! United Way of King County invites you and your organization to join us for Day of Caring 2009, Friday September 11th.  Day of Caring is the largest single day use of volunteers in King County with over 8,000 volunteers heading out last year from companies all over the region.  We are looking to offer even more options for volunteering this year with your help! In past years volunteers have repainted classrooms, organized libraries, assembled education kits, spruced up playgrounds, and much more. Any and all projects are welcome! To register a Day of Caring project, contact Erica Ellis at eellis@uwkc.org or at 206-461-3644.

*Can't participate in the Friday Event? We will be accepting a limited number of projects for Saturday the 12th as well. The Saturday event will be open to organizations that address early learning. Contact Erica if you are interested in the Saturday event.*
