Up to Grant Opportunities
GoGirlGo! is a curriculum-based program that educates girls about health risks and encourages them to

We are pleased to continue the work that has been accomplished nationally towards reaching the goal of getting one million girls active and impacted by the 2004 and 2006 National Health Award-winning GoGirlGo! curriculum.
This grassroots effort offers financial, educational, and technical support resources to girl-serving organizations that provide physical activity programs for girls. The goal is to get sedentary girls ages 8 to 18 moving and to keep currently active girls from dropping out of physical activity in the Seattle area, specifically inside Pierce, Snohomish, and King County. After registering your organization on the GoGirlGo! Seattle Directory (http://www.womenssportsfoundation.org/GoGirlGo/Seattle.aspx), you are invited to submit your grant application due (postmarked) by Friday, May 28, 2010. Grant award announcements will be made in early June 2010. Grant funding is to support girl-focused, health-enhancing physical activity and implementation of the GoGirlGo! curriculum.
If you have specific questions or for the application, please do not hesitate to contact Sheri Gazitt, GoGirlGo! Seattle Director at 425-802-2080, or by e-mail at SGazitt@WomensSportsFoundation.org.
The due date has been moved to the end of July. contact sgazitt@womenssportsfoundation.org for more info.
